Volunteer

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily care routines for shelter cats, including feeding, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities.

• Socialize and interact with cats to help them feel loved and comfortable during their stay at the shelter.

• Assist in monitoring the health and behavior of shelter cats, reporting any concerns to shelter staff.

• Help maintain a clean and organized shelter environment, including litter box maintenance and facility cleaning.

• Support adoption events and assist potential adopters in meeting and interacting with cats.

• Participate in shelter events, fundraisers, and outreach activities to promote the mission of Pawesome Cat Shelter.

• Follow shelter policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all cats and volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Passion for animals and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of homeless cats.

• Reliable and responsible with a commitment to volunteering on a regular basis.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow direction from shelter staff.

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with shelter visitors and potential adopters.

• Willingness to learn and follow shelter protocols for animal care and handling.
